    7.25 Rear - Differential Interchange

Will the 2.76 directly bolt in the original carrier? I'm running '64 axles, and the wheels are dual bolt pattern. Drum brakes. The 273+ makes something north of 275 HP so there should be plenty of torque at 65 mph to haul CUDAVRT around. If all the above is correct, all I need now is a...

    7.25 Rear - Differential Interchange

I'm sure that I currently have a 3.23. I raised the rear end off the floor with my floorjack, marked the wheel and the driveshaft. The driveshaft turned about 1.2 times for 3+ turns of the wheel. Tires are 205 / 60 R15 Goodyear which Tire Rack logs at 24.7 inch diameter. So it looks like a...

    7.25 Rear - Differential Interchange

I recently installed a pro-built 273 / 4-sp in my 64 (originally a slanty / auto. It still has the original small rear axle (7 1/4 ?) I need to change the rear axle ratio to a lower (numeric) ratio. What ratios are available? Currently it runs at over 3000 at 65 MPH. I have no plans to race...

    1963 Barracuda convertible

Just a '65 Barracuda - note the front fenders - that someone made a mess of. No USA Barracudas until '67. I saw an article a few years ago about a Valiant convertible produced in Mexico. I can't remember if '64 or '65 model year. All were slant sixes with automatic transmissions with...

[FOR SALE] '66 Barracuda tail-light assembly (left)

Michael- PM me your eMail and I'll send you some hi-res photos. The bezel has the usual light pitting. Also some nicks. It could be re-chromed according to my chrome plate shop, but the nicks are another problem. Probably OK for a driver, but not for a high end show car. Stroker

    Engine install w/or without manifolds

When I installed the new 273 in CUDAVRT I bolted the complete engine / 4-speed to the K-member and lowered the body over it. Easiest install I ever did. A friend did this with a Hemi Superbird.

    65 signet

Very popular as far as I'm concerned. I has a white over turquoise '63 Signet 2dht v8/4sp that I bought in August 66 within a day or two after I returned from Viet Nam. Sold it a couple of years later to my brother. Bad decision. Looked for another for years. Bought CUDAVRT a few years ago...

    65 signet

Yes, those are stock exhaust manifolds. The heads were pocket ported and port matched to the intake and exhaust - cheap horsepower that requires no maintenance. Bored .030 (278 ci), hyd cam, Pertronic ignition, Holley 500 cfm on an air gap Edelbrock intake. We believe it makes about 275hp on...
