Mopar brought home the trophy for Best Engine today at the O'Reilly's car show I went to. The ol Demon drew quite a bit of attention. Happy to say that Mother Mopar was well represented today.
I'm 57 years old and grew up in the 70's and 80's. Born in 68, that was a good year, 68 Hemi Dart and Barracudas..lol....But yes it seems that a lot of things were a lot more affordable back then.
That's the whole issue with building a car today. These manufacturers have priced it out of reach for a lot of people. I remember the days when you could buy a Duster, Dart etc out of someone's yard for a couple of hundred dollars go to the junk yard and buy a 440, 340 or whatever for 50-75...
This looks like the application that I need from McLeod's website..I may have to get an adjustable pressure plate for street use. I could send my bellhousing to Lakewood to get them to install a window to make it easier.
