    Eliminate vent windows?

It's simply a preference. I like the cleaner lines without the vents. I'm planning on adding aftermarket A/C and I don't smoke, so the windows aren't as much of a necessity. A38 - if you want to swap, I'd be interested in figuring out the shipping costs. If I buy doors elsewhere, I'll end up...

    Eliminate vent windows?

Ahh, crap. Just did some more searching to realize that 73-74 don't have the vent windows. Anybody have any later doors for sale?

    Eliminate vent windows?

I have a '72 Swinger and would like to get rid of the vent, or wing, windows. My understanding is that Demon/Duster doors will fit and they do not have vents, so is it possible to swap doors or even just glass? Will it seal at the quarter windows?

cleaning up the slant six head

I did an 8 3/4 housing. Ran a piece of rebar (cathode) through the axle tubes. Held it in suspension with a couple of PVC bushings. Knowing the minimal cost of trying, I'd say go for it and post pics.

cleaning up the slant six head

No pre-cleaning or prep, other than disassembling the pieces as far as you can. For an intake, I'd give it at least a day in the soak, charger on the whole time. Do this outside! Dont smoke near it. You will have to brush or scrub afterwards. The process separates the attached rust first, so...

cleaning up the slant six head

I've done entire axle housings using this method. http://www.rickswoodshopcreations.com/miscellaneous/rust_removal.htm Works fine, albeit a little slower than muriatic or diesel. Removes grease, paint and rust. No toxic byproducts. I assume you all have a battery charger...

    Sketches/Renderings

Hey all, Just curious if anyone has had a sketch or rendering done of their car? I'm a member on Cuda-Challenger.com and there is a guy over there who does E-bodies, but ONLY does E-bodies. Not looking for a caricature, I'm looking for a real "Foose"-style depiction of what our idea will...

Wilcap Slant Six to 200R4 conversion

Bill, I certainly respect your opinion. We can both produce examples of higher and lower 1st gear ratios. I guess the point I was making is the NAG-1 is not a perfect solution and has as many, or more, pitfalls than the 200. I've searched this forum, and others, pretty thoroughly for a...

Wilcap Slant Six to 200R4 conversion

A few of issues beyond the issue of physical fitment. First gear is way too low...people complain about the 700r4 which is 3.09. The OD ratio isn't much different than 4th, and won't drop RPM's the way the .67 in the 200 will. Finally, you'll have to pay for both an adapter ($600) and a...

Wilcap Slant Six to 200R4 conversion

If he's doing it right, it shouldn't languish on his shelf at all. Receive order, build kit. I'm guessing he's not CNC, or this would be cake for him.

Wilcap Slant Six to 200R4 conversion

Ah, my bad. Didn't mean to come off wrong, just frustrated after following leads on Wilcap, Riley, QuickTime, TCI, etc all day and getting nowhere.
