    Armrest pads...75?

    Sold, thanks

    Yet another dipstick thread! Yay!

I have a 74 Dart Custom. In July I swapped in a low-mileage (44K) /6 (from a '71) for the dead original. There were no issues. Changed the oil & filter twice in the first week (donor motor had sat for a while) and checked the oil each time. I;ve checked the oil a dozen times or more...

Factory A/C system for 1974 Dart

Located in New Jersey, 08086. Complete system, includes all underhood components & wiring and what appears to be all chassis wiring under dash and through to trunk; dash controls, ducting, vacuum lines, all plumbing. I would buy a new receiver/drier, it's been open to the atmosphere...

    Armrest pads...75?

Located in New Jersey 08086. I bought this pair of pads on eBay for my '74 Dart. They are not correct. Not sure what year they are for, but after reviewing countless photos they appear to be 1975+. Plastic backing, holes spaced too wide for a '74, and overall they are longer. Asking $30 +...

    1974 Dart Custom

Located in South Jersey. Asking $3000 or best offer. Car is street-legal, has passed NJ state inspection at a state facility. Buyer can drive it home. This is a well-preserved original car that was abused (neglected) mechanically before I bought it. I have: - Replaced the exhaust...

    Installing Factory A/C in non-AC '74 Dart

6pk2goDemon: thanks for the photo. And thanks to all who have posted. I am selling the car for a variety of reasons, none are the fault of the car.

    Installing Factory A/C in non-AC '74 Dart

OK, I’ve run into my first major problem with this install: Hosing layout. This is the configuration on the unit. The AC lines line up well with the existing opening for the heater core lines: However, the AC heater core nipples require cutting a new oblong opening. Not only is there...

    Slant 6 Accessories

Apologies for being a veritable fount of questions...are the fan, fan pulley & shroud gone yet (as well)? I am learning about bits from my thread on installing OEM A/C in a non-A/C car...will take the brackets for $40, let me know how much more plus shipping for as much of the rest is...

    Installing Factory A/C in non-AC '74 Dart

Ja I read about the fan & shroud (the radiator is from an A/C car...it runs pretty cool at the moment on a 4-blade fan with no shroud). I wanted to be sure there isn't bracket hardware lying around in the piles I have acquired in the past three weeks before I plunk down more for the /6 brackets...

    Installing Factory A/C in non-AC '74 Dart

I have obtained the entire system, including dash and underhood wiring, and am hoping to be able to add A/C to my '74 Dart Custom. Aside from replacing the receiver/drier, PAG oil instead of mineral, new green O-rings and possibly drilling a couple large holes in the firewall below the...

After doing some more reading...my car also has power steering...will they still go? ...and does that include shipping?

Shudder on hard acceleration - 904

Changed out the 904 yesterday without any problems...there was a leak in the pan; I may have to switch over to a cork gasket. It solved all of the shuddering problems (yay!), although there's still a vibration at idle that drills into the canter of your skull. In P or N, the motor idles...
