Tommy's loss weakens my soul. What a great friend he was. He lived for Mopar. He just got some bugs worked out of his car and couldn't wait to go back to the track and find those high 11's. There's no doubt he is wrenching on another a-body in the sky. Good-bye my friend. rip
I have a '72 340 block that I got in a trade. It had dropped a valve and punched a hole in the cylinder wall. I was thinking of making a stroker out of it. It's 20 over. Would this be possiable by putting in a sleeve? Would it be strong enough?
Thanks,
Tom
Best so far..11.98 @ 113. 360 20 over, 509 cam, 9.5 flat top pistons, 1.6 rockers, polished edelbrock heads, M1 single plane, 750 dp, tti headers, 4.30 gear, 28" tires, weighs 3180 with me in it. Intake and headers gasket matched. 3500 stall
I have a 20 over 360 with 9.5 comp., worked edelbrock heads, M1 intake, TTI headers and 1.6 rockers. I have a 650 DP on it now and it runs mid 12's. I put my buddies 750 DP on it and it ran 12 0's and has went high 11's a few times. A friend has a 850 DP I can get for $100. Is this too much carb...
Yes, I intend on painting it. I attempted it before but the paint I have wouldn't stick to the gel coat. I need to do some research on the proper paint to use.
