How often do those go bad? I installed a new one about 10 years ago but then I garaged it 1 year later and just pulled the car out recently.

Im seeing some pretty general gauge diagnosis threads but all of my gauges are working just not the fuel gauge. I've traced the sender wire and it is showing resistance. Can you point me toward a more particular thread on the issue?

I've got a 66 cuda and just put a working set of OEM gauges in it but when grounded the fuel gauge goes straight to full. I figured it was a problem with the capacitor on the back of the dash but figured i would seek some more knowledgeable advice. Has anyone else had this issue and/or know of...
