Here is a pic of the Schumacher torque strap kit on my '68 Dart 383, but a '74 K-member. I welded and bolted it. The bolts also attached the Firm Feel sway bar bracket which give it additional strength.
Fab'd and installed an enclosed buss bar and ground post station to support the trunk mounted battery. This will power the rad fans, 110A alt, MSD AL6, etc on my '68 Dart GTS. Securely mounted with stainless rivnuts. I'll post more details in technical forum post.

My flexplate instructions say to check the alignment between crank and trans shaft. I have a professionally rebuilt '68 383 and a ProTrans 727 TF. Any suggestions or cool tool recommendations to measure this in the tight space? Thanks.

I finally installed for fitting, the original 383 (rebuilt and stroked to 489ci) after several years of laying off the project. My car is a 1968 Dart GTS that came to me with a 440 installed and the original 383 bare block in the trunk.
