Sources for Chrysler type wire terminals

I put this simple 'Packard 58' terminal kit together for my Dart build. I'll use them for the firewall forward harnesses and the bulkhead connector. After lots of searching I ordered them from Elecdirect.com because I could verify they were Delphi terminals and housings, and they sell...

After considering many different switching options to support the accessories in my '68 Dart, from racing panels to touchscreens to self fabricated, I came back to this retro panel from Concord Aerospace. I saw it referenced on a Cybertruck forum a while back and have been looking for an...

Here is a pic of the Schumacher torque strap kit on my '68 Dart 383, but a '74 K-member. I welded and bolted it. The bolts also attached the Firm Feel sway bar bracket which give it additional strength.

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Fab'd and installed an enclosed buss bar and ground post station to support the trunk mounted battery. This will power the rad fans, 110A alt, MSD AL6, etc on my '68 Dart GTS. Securely mounted with stainless rivnuts. I'll post more details in technical forum post.

    Transmission/Crank alignment help

My flexplate instructions say to check the alignment between crank and trans shaft. I have a professionally rebuilt '68 383 and a ProTrans 727 TF. Any suggestions or cool tool recommendations to measure this in the tight space? Thanks.

Please tell me why the offset is desired. I used the Dr Diff alu master cylinder in my 1968 Dart 383 with 440Source valve covers & TTI 2" headers.

    383 Accusump port

Can anyone recommend an oil port on my '68 383 block to install the hose from my Accusump? They recommend 1/2" or 3/8" NPT. I was planning to use one of the oil sensor ports on the top back but I'm not sure it meets their spec. I'd prefer not to use the oil filter adapter and the engine is...

I finally installed for fitting, the original 383 (rebuilt and stroked to 489ci) after several years of laying off the project. My car is a 1968 Dart GTS that came to me with a 440 installed and the original 383 bare block in the trunk. Here is a picture of the engine installed for fitting...

    Electric Water Pump

I ran one on my 440 for years. I made a circuit that switched the pump and fan from the starter relay to a thermostat relay when the car was turned off. This cooled the heads and block down nicely.

    383 Build Almost Done

I've been trying not to add it up. But an honest answer is about $13,500 including the carb, dist, and headers. There's no getting around the cost of quality machining and assembly, high flow aluminum heads (and required offset rockers for $1,000) and all of the quality parts needed for a...

    Recommend a TorqueFlight supplier

I need a new 727 TorqueFlight to put behind a newly built 383 stroked to 496 with about 600 hp. This is going in my '68 Dart GTS. This is for street use but I'll be ordering it with a reverse manual valve body. I've researched the builders that advertise and found a couple that look pretty...
