Carb and intake are leaning to passenger side

That was the issue. Once I removed the heat shield, the carb sat proper again. I'm going to get a half inch spacer before I put it back on.

Carb and intake are leaning to passenger side

Thanks, I think I may have figured out a possible cause. First, the picture is not very good and at the angle it was shot, it looks like the whole engine is leaning. It's not and the motor mounts are good. What I realized after posting this is the arm of the front accelerator pump is resting...

Carb and intake are leaning to passenger side

Hey guys, I have a question. I picked up a (new/unused) Weiand X-CELerator 7545 intake at a swap meet a number of years back and recently decided to install it on my small block. However, after installing it, I noticed the both air cleaner and carb are noticeably leaning to the passenger side...

    Trying to Identify Rally Cluster

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, 71 Duster or Demon. This is a shot of a 71 Demon I saw last year, dash looks the same. 67 - 69 Barracuda's have the flasher switch (good catch, I missed that).

    Trying to Identify Rally Cluster

I'm gonna guess 70-71, leaning more towards 71. Thumbwheels were 68, 69 and some 70 a-bodies, If I recall correctly. The other thing I noticed is the 150mph speedo which was optional. Looks like it would have the push on speedo cable which would be 68 - 75.

67-68 Barracuda Fiberglass frontend parts wanted

Thanks, Unfortunately neither of those companies are offering the two parts I'm looking for in fiberglass and I don't want the full 1-piece nose. Not a big deal, I'll just keep looking.

67-68 Barracuda Fiberglass frontend parts wanted

Well, my procrastination to order a few fiberglass parts I wanted for my 67 Barracuda bit me. Finally went back to the pages I had bookmarked on AAR's website a long time ago and discovered they are no longer in business. I already have a hood but also wanted their header panel and lower...

70 Swinger over center clutch spring

I spoke with a buddy who also took his out of his 70 GTX and he agreed it should come out. Tried the pedal in his car and was convinced it was the right choice. After fighting with mine for days (stuffing with washer, expanding plyers, etc.. ) to no avail, finally just cut the damn thing...

    Caltrac Tuning Info LOOK HERE

Thanks Steve. Cutting the leafs was not in my original line of thought but it makes sense. Looks like I'll need to cut back the 2nd leaf about 5-6 inches on both sides and (I just realized) also the 3rd leaf on the right side a couple of inches. Not something I'm really familiar with. Any...

70 Swinger over center clutch spring

Sorry for bringing this up again, but I'm thoroughly confused on the topic of the OC spring after reading some of the threads. I suspect this may be related to something that I'm experiencing. My 67 with a stroked small block/4-speed has a Ram Clutches Street Dual with the aluminum flywheel...

    Caltrac Tuning Info LOOK HERE

Question to anyone who has installed the "ASSASSIN" Traction Bars. I have SS springs on my Barracuda and have purchased a set of Assassins . The Instructions state "On Multi-leaf, may have to trim second leaf so the bracket sits flat". The second leaf on mine goes right up to the back edge of...

Chrysler Show Vernon CT September 25th 2022

The show is not what it used to be but they are building it back up after a change in who is running it. They had an OK turnout last year for the show, but not much for a swap meet. I took a bunch of pictures of the show, 2021 Chrysler Convention Also, the old golfland is no more. The...
