    electric water pump???

The main reason for running an electric pump is to gain HP, the mech ones obviously rob power from the engine, if your only running the car on the street there is little advantage apart from they look cool, and as 1968formulas340 says, your next post may well be "why's my car running hot?" I'm...

Will high pressure rad cap make it run hotter??

i'm going to try and slow the flow down, (less holes in the stat) and i've got a spare 12" fan, so might stick that on the front of the rad. I'm just thinking from what everyone said that the electric pump doesnt move enough water and electric fans don't move enough air.....so is this...

Will high pressure rad cap make it run hotter??

wow a lot to take in there just a few answers to the above, the pump draws water from the bottom of the rad and pumps in in the top......correct??/not?? the bottom hose is perfect, doesn't collapse fans pull air from the outside and draw it trough the rad into the engine bay i also read, DO...

Will high pressure rad cap make it run hotter??

Guys i need some help please....ive tried everything 408 stroker, eddy ali heads, h-beam rods, ross pistons, 11:1 comp, high stall, demon carb, MSD at 18 degrees initial, approx 14.0 AFR I'm running a CSR electric pump, 28" ally rad, 2 x 12" electric fans, 3/4" restrictor in the stat...

    Lost reverse?

I agree with 69MOPE, the rear servo can actually split, therefore trans fluid leaks through, no pressure to to engage rear band = no reverse with the sump, filter removed, if you can remove the pin that the rear lever pivots on, (sometimes there is a tab on the case you may need to grind off)...

Anyone using an Innovate LM-2 A/F ratio datalogger

Guys, thank you for all the input, i'm loving the forum thing!! I went for the AEM Fail Safe in the end, arrived today £215 delivered, so cheaper than the FAST or LM2 The AEM software looks good and easy to use, it measures A/F against vacuum and revs, logs 2.5 hours of data, has the fail safe...

    engine mounts

i run solid mounts from mancini, they are not as uncomfortable as you'd imagine (minimal additional vibration/noise etc), won't ever break or need replacing.

    Aftermarket floor shifter for 727

Hurst quarter stick, nicely made and feels solid....and i like the mopar/hurst heritage (routing that cable away from headers is annoying though)

ok, i'm all out of shape here.......just seen the AEM fail safe gauge, this looks a nice bit of kit?? checked out the Fast products, they also look good, though a little more difficult to get hold of in the uk so many choices.......

Anyone using an Innovate LM-2 A/F ratio datalogger

Think i need to check out the Fast products, I'm assuming summit sells them?? Also sounds like the data logging is a hassle too far unless your constantly modding your motor this is really helpful information, many thanks all

Anyone using an Innovate LM-2 A/F ratio datalogger

Hi All, i'm thinking of buying a Innovate LM-2 air/fuel data logger so i can rejet the carb with the new engine mods and monitor that it never runs lean. From what i can understand, you weld the oxygen sensor bung in the headers, fit the sensor, wire in the rev counter and then you can monitor...

What Harmonic Balancer would you run

Forgot to mention, the ATI comes in two peices, the hub and the balancer, makes it a lot easier to install and remove, so if hammers/pullers are involved at any time the nice technical bit can be well out of harms way on the bench.

What Harmonic Balancer would you run

I run a ATI Super Damper, really nice quality though the shiny black finish does reflect the light so using the timing light can sometimes be tricky to read. My mate runs a Rattler, had it on there for a good three years + with no problems, he loves it so much bought another for his new engine.
