    Windshield Removal '73 Swinger

I haven't replaced the windshiled yet, waiting for paint which should happen in the next couple of months. Once painted I might get a pro to re-install. I'd hate to have leaks because I messed something up.

    Dash/Instrument Panel Questions

Ok, got everything off and then ordered a new dash cap only to find out what I really wanted was the whole thing, not just a cap. This cap even comes with a warning that says it will warp in the sun... Not a good thing for someone in Georgia... Does anyone know where I can get the whole thing...

    Dash/Instrument Panel Questions

That worked, thanks once again. But for those trying this at home, it didn't just pop off. I had to depress the spring, and then put slight prying pressure under the glove box knob to get it to come out. But the instructions were right on.

    Glass refinishing/buffing

Ok, some have said yes you can buff them out but with what? Are we talking some grit of wet sand, or buffing compound, or what? I would like to try and correct some sand blasting overspray, yes, I know I should have covered it better NOW :-)

    440 question

So it sounds like I may be able to tell a difference in water pumps between the two? I believe my son's was a 1968, it is not original to the 65 Coronet. So did they not use as strong a crank in the later years? Are there years I should stay away from? It almost sounds like it is worth a...

    440 question

My son has a Coronet with a 440 in it, I need to have a repair made so I was looking for a spare 440 short block and someone found a 440 that is in an old from a '78 RV. Is this the same 440 or is it incompatiable with the one I have?
