well, since my dart is so hard to sell, i need to get rid of one or the other, so i am putting my 72 340 duster up for sale. whichever one sells first, i'll keep the other.
car is a numbers matching 340 auto, with awesome interior. bucket seats, centerconsole. new headliner, carpet, outer door handles, windshield.
radio works, as does everthing else.

the car had not a lot of rust, but did nedd a few patches welded in. the paint is driver quality, and even a local car show worthy.

engine runs flawwlessly, as does the transmission. 8.75 rear with 3:23 open chunk. dual exaust

floors had no rot. passenger side had slight surface scaling. frame rails and underneath has no rust.
there were two small holes in the trunk, that i welded in new metal,. can barely see them.

this car is a awesome driver and warrior.. the only thing it will need soon is a set of universal joints. i have them, just did not put in yet. i will put in before car is picked up.

car has fendertag, but no build sheet

i know this car would drive to california tommorow.
car is located 30 minutes from martinsville international speedway in va

i look at it this way....... most members on here would rather build their own, but a few would rather just jump in one that is ready to go, and this is it. i do not think this car could be built for the money, and numbers matching to boot

in this economy, it is either work fast, or die sitting idle.lol
one day i have plenty of cash, and no cars, then within a 2 month period find deal like this car, a 70 340 dart, and a 72 orange 340 car. now i have 3 cars and no money.lol. i hate my life sometimes
 
man,that is sweet,had one with a 4-speed,my quarters flapped in the wind though,almost worth knockin over a 7-11 for that !
 
If I didn't already buy my '68 Dart that in paint right now, I would buy this one for sure. Someone is going to get a nice car.

mike, i would love to have the convert, but at this time, i cannot come out of my pocket with any cash. , when i am in need of some.lol
 
I see the duster is up to almost $7,000.00 on ebay! and 4 and a half days left, looks like you are going to turn good profit on it.

bummer to see the duster go though.

sorry you guys may have had a bit of miss communication and might not see eye to eye on how the hole thing went down but just brush it off and move on....its not worth the argument and saying things that may cause an even bigger stir.

if your rag top is so nice (not doubting you) than don't feel bitter about the deal, just be happy that you can still confidently pull another deal of in the future on a different trade/sale OR keep it:cheers:

I could see a big fuss in it if it was like a super rare 1 of 4 car or something....then I would be really pi$$ed ......but....thats not the case.
