Surfing the net today I ran across my old 68 Dart GTS on an auto brokers website. I was the second owner and did a major restoration on the car. It was nice to see it again, I`ve always wondered what happened to it. The last I knew it was in Greenville, N.C. but now it`s back in Va.. It`s like running into an old friend. I wonder what the guy`s looking to get out of it? http://www.todaysauto.net/index.php?page=dart-gts.html

Damn that's nice. I can't wait until the day I get mine looking like that again. IMO, that's one of the best looking year/model Dart there ever was.

Agreed...8)

And that one is especially nice...Must be nice to know it still runs and looks great..

Sadly for me, my first two Muscle Cars both met with untimely demise soon after I sold them, after I graduated HS, in 1975..(They were my High School cars, a red 1965 Mustang Fastback I got in 10th Grade, replaced with a white 1967 Camaro SS 350 in 11th and Senior year, both with manual transmissions and some go-fast goodies)

Those were cool cars..I wish I had them still..

Sorry about the Thread Hijack, but your story brought back fond memories...

BTW, that car site - Today's Auto - has some seriously nice Muscle Cars on display..

Man, if I should be so lucky to win te Lotto...

Mike, that`s the only one I`ve got left. :toothy10: I thought about doing a `70 Roadrunner but when I lost my bud "Fishman", it had a profound affect on me and my interest waned quite a bit. I hope to get back into it again if the right car comes along.

Yes I restored it, the original owner parked it in `79 and while it was rough, it was virtually untouched. It was a nice foundation for a restoration.
Those auto brokers tend to get top dollar for most every car they sell. I`m betting their going to sqeeze the juice out of this one.

Looks exactly like my very first car. Makes me miss mine too. Wish I had the cash.

wow longgone, i am embarresed to say to say i did not even know you had sold it, much less 2 years ago! man i would have kept that car if possible....hope it stays in va!

John, See if you can buy it back for what you sold it for. Oh and don't forget I have a soft spot for these and my birthday is 2 days away. Hint Hint Wink Wink!!!!!!!
