Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 33, my first car was a 74 Swinger, I bought it when I was 15. My second was a 70 Swinger, that I bought two years later. I took everything off the 74 I bought and put it in the 70. I am now the proud owner of a 69 slant six 2dr Dart. The plan is to get in the 13's for under 3 grand. I traded a Ford ranger that I paid 400 bucks for to get the car, so I have $2600 left.

I got a mild 360 for free from a friend, his truck ran 14.1 with it. The car has typical northeast rust. Once its built and down the track, I plan to tear it down and restomod it. I love this board!

WOW I bet that engine will send your 69 Dart down the track if it ran a truck 14.1 Should be a 13.1 for sure in your 69 Dart :happy10:

Welcome Aboard!! Always good to have another Pa. resident. I located inb Valencia, Pa. About 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. Here are a couple of pics of my '69 Swinger 340. Good louck with the car.

Welcome to FABO!!! I know someone on here will chime in with a good suggestion, I think for under 3 grand it would be very possible if the engine already ran 14.1s in a truck
