I am looking for a variety of pictures of A-bodies with their door panel metal (not the vinyl boards) painted the same as the car and door jams. I am debating whether or not to keep my entire interior black or to pain the metal of the doors the same color as the car.

I would LOVE to see any red ones if someone has it! I've found a couple so far but need more to talk myself into doing it

Sorry, no pics to share. But I can tell you my personal preference is for an all-black interior in a red car.
The previous owner of my '69 Dart painted the inside metal on the door as close to 'GoMango' orange as Maaco could get it and then put the stock black-vinyl door panels back on. I didn't like it as soon as I saw it.
I'm repainting my car Viper red and the interior door panel metal will be painted black like my original '69 Dart 340 Swinger was years ago. I may be doing some sort of red highlight elsewhere in the interior but not as much square footage as the exposed door metal. Just too much contrast and too busy for my taste.

lambo pearl orange with black interior...

here are pics of my wagons doors from when I got it a year and a half ago. Note the custom armrests LOL. That was one of the first things I had to change. And the rear doors have red metal while the front are blue.

My original '68 Barracuda has GG1 body with a black interior and black metal door panels. Top of driver's door looks green 'cause of reflection of trees.

I guess I don't have a picture of sshomer's Valiant doors, which is too bad.

Anyway, here's a pic of the dash. I think the body color in the interior is a nice look.

Go with the same color as the door panel. The two tone look is a little cheap/goofy looking to me.

Personally I think the 2 tone interior looks good! Going to paint all the metal inside my 71 duster red, and then all the soft parts minus the headliner will be black. The exceptions being the top of the dash, will be black, and the headliner will be red. I love a red interior, just cant take too much of it. just my humble opinion.

I've decided on keeping the interior completely black...Two reasons, first the paint I am using is close to 350 bucks a gallon and would rather not have to buy any more than needed...and secondly, I just cant find any shots that look decent to me. I like the one posted in here of just the bottom part painted but figure it will be easier just sticking with full black.

Thanks for the posts guys!

My car is B5 Blue and changing to white interior (the door panels were metallic blue)...

I prefer the contrast of blue/white as opposed to white/white myself but I do agree that on some cars it looks better when the trim and panels match... especially black/black.
