Thrush welded seriers install and video.

I painted my mufflers and all the hardware for the three inch system i am having installed.
Thrush welded series mufflers in three inch will be replacing the 2 1/2 inch flowtec system.

Here are some photos and videos of the hole process.
I took a video of my car with open headers also.
The video is a little on the bumpy side though.

The SECOND VIDEO is of the flowtec system for a comparison test.(OLD SYSTEM)

I hope the new thrush system sounds good.

Their kinda loud (or so it seems in the video) but they sound great. Like open headers but quieter. Kinda hard to compare them with the video of the flowtec's since you didn't drive it with them.

Do you have a H or X pipe in the system?

the thrush sound real good, i have a pair of 3" with a X pipe on my cuda.

They are 2 chambered flowmaster 40 series copies. Sounds good.

The new thrush system was put on today.
You guys where listening to my car with the flowtec system.

Those mufflers are 20 rears old and on a 2 1/2 inch pipe.

This is the new system.
The engine sounds way better now and the torque is EVEN BETTER NOW.

I can't even hook in first at any speed when floored.
I try to make it hook but the car won't have it.

The flowtecs where killing the power and with just plain open headers --with out a longer collector -- was also killing the power.

This system is right on the money and the steel bend work is great.
I will post more pitchers of the nice front bends this shop did.

My tach went a little over 6500 at one point.
The tires just roast most of the way threw second gear.
I had to lift a little to hook.
