Wow really?

Wow, that *is* too cheap for a rust free car. You don't see A bodies like that here in SE PA, that's for sure. A local used lot has a POS 71 Valiant sedan painted pumpkin orange and rusted out for $1800!
 
It is a sign of the times and a good reason to not list a car on eBay with no reserve.
 
Man does that car bring back memories.............

my dad had nearly the exact duplicate of that car when i was 10 years old
taught me how to drive manul in it and then i used to tear up the farm with it until
one day it just quit.
i wasnt very mechanically inclined at 10 and my dad was always too busy to take the time to look at it for me ( i dont think he liked me tearing around in it) so he sold it for a whole $25 to a friend of his this was back in 73, needless to say the jerk knew what was wrong all along and had it on the road 2 days later. freaking distributer gear......
 
It's a good thing I never saw that auction. It probably would have sold higher and you guys would be sending flowers to a funeral .....as soon as my wife discovered that I had bought another car!
 
my wife eventually got used to me not asking before buying cars. its easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. just wish i could figure out how to upload pic's to you guys
 
Oh yeah, getting forgiveness is *tons* easier that getting permission. Learned that lesson a long time ago.
 
Seems like he got a pretty good deal,but who knows if it goes through. Some sellers back out. Happened to me on Ebay.Won an auction on a Dart,with a very low bid.
Seller gave me some sob story and wiggled out of the deal.
