It's a 23 spline, slip-yoke, middle range low gear (Not the 3.09, not the steep one), A-body 4-speed. It was in a running, driving car. I pulled it out and was going to re-build it during a motor swap. It needs a couple of gears (or some patience and a file to restore synchro teeth) and I don't have the time, so I pulled another unit off the shelf.
The drive teeth are fine and it shifts fine if shifted normally, it was just balky on the power shifts. I only put 400 miles on it.
I did NOT put the bearings back in this because it WILL need rebuilt. I think that the price reflects this. The trans is complete but has one broken ear on the shifter mount. I had a washer stack under neath the mounting pad and it worked fine.
$200, in either Kansas City or Springfield Missouri, your choice. Don't think that price is fair? Make an offer!!
