2 Mopars come with Spark plug tubes.

One is a highly refined, record setting, world class, racing machine.

The other is a 426 CI. boat anchor!

I believe magnum motors also have a tube over the plug dont they ?

They both also use the same PVC and breather. But to call a /6 a highly refined racing machine and a 426 Hemi a boat anchor is kind of silly don't you think ?

Maybe your keyboard got the two confused.

Since there was a slant in 1960 in a race trim Hyper Pack, no, it's not silly. 7 Hyper Pack Valiants took the first seven spots in the then new compact car series at Daytona. NASCAR decided that since the Valiants had dominated so strongly, they would cancel the new compact car race because they thought it would be too boring for spectators. Since that was a full four years before the 426 hit the scene, I wouldn't call it silly at all. ...there are a few more Mopars that use plug tubes, though.

According to the NHRA site http://www.nhra.net/stats/ss_record.html the quickest ss/ah time is 8.22 @ 162.72, seriously doubt a / is going to be any quicker.......

a slant NA... never... on boost yes...

Great story, weve all heard it. The HP did very well against other "Compact Cars".

But how well do you think they would do against Petty and all the other Hemi Boys ?

Enough said......

This thread is hilarious.......

Thanks for the laugh !

A beefed up slant with somebody that knows how to drive will embarass a Camaro with a 454 for a distance! IT"S a Long Stroke Tourqe Thing. NUFF SAID!
But I"d Take a 426 Hemi, if Someone would like to donate one call 304-555-9LOL. That is if the Camaro doesn't have proper tires and there not inflated properly ( Thanks)? (Mr. President) .

yes they do, and in my opinion who ever designed the magnum spark plug tubes and never redesigned the spark plug boots to keep moisture off the plug should be shot, multiple times! have you ever tried changing plugs on a magnum engine with the plugs seized in?
