recently i picked up a 75 dodge dart sport for 300 no motor or tranny. It had a 340 from a 70 dart but the guy who owned the car still has it somewhere. this is my first muscle car that i own, so im really looking forward to someday beat my dads 67 chevelle or grandmas old 428 thunderbird. I will upload pics as this project goes along.

Heres the pic of right before I brought it home.

Took out those ugly factory bench seats and started to clean it up a bit.

Welcome to FABO. I know you will find a lot of info here. If you have questions just ask, and someone will answer it. Good luck with your build.

Heres some pics of the trunk and interior. The bench seats were trashed so there sitting in the shed for now. bucket seats and new engine will be up soon :)

The dash is pretty trashed.

I needa find a 360 or 440 cheap i know a guy who has a 360 and trans for around 300$ what should I choose guys?

$300 is a great price, and already setup for a V-8. Some spend almost that much just on conversion brackets and such for a slant six car. You also have disk brakes in 1975. I see AC. Even if the compressor is gone, the plumbing and interior is the main part. Good luck, you will be busy.

I might go check it out he's scraping the truck and around here you get like 350 out of a truck, so maybe he will go lower because the car had a 340 in it but the old owner wont sell it.

So, I found a good deal on a 360 and trans. My shop teacher told me if my pops fixed his toyota then he'd give me the motor and trans out of his 76 aspen so ill have pics of the motor asap.
