I want to upgrade to disc in the front (and maybe the back if money permits) but from what i have seen i need atleast 14" rims, but there are more options if i get 15" ers. has any one put 15" in the front and if so what width?
Any other input would be great.

Welcome Emerson. Got any photos of your 66? I haven't put 15's on mine yet but I'll bet 15x6's would work great. 15x7's may be too wide and rub when turning. I'm sure our other 66 Dart owners will respond. Feel free to post some photos on my 66 Dart thread. The link is below. toolmanmike

196/65r15's on the front with what I remember are 6" wide rims, and 15x7 rears with a 235 60/r 15 should fit without a problem. I moved my rear springs in 3/4" with the mopar kit and I have 255's on the rear.

here you go...

i just got it about a week to go so there are a few things that i want to do to it including the brakes...
new intake manifold
4 bbl carb
new top
msd ignition
fix the odometer
make the instrument cluster light up (this is particularly annoying at night)
i figure that is a good start :) any other suggestions

Looks like a nice car. Boy that grille and those headlight bezels look straight. I'm jealous. LOL toolman

I have on the front of mike 64 dart 15X7 with a 205X60X15 and on the rear 215X60X8 I have ralley wheels. been on there for 15 years Special Wheel in Sandy,Or. made them up that was when Tom was still alive I don't know who is running the company now.

this is sounding good. looks like i could put a 15x 6's on with no need to change a thing. Thanks for the input.
Any suggestion on disc brake kits? I would like to upgrade to power brakes when i put on the discs.

I have a wheel guy in the Northwest, that will make any BS you need. He takes 14" SBP centers and weld 15" hoops on. He makes wheels for the big wheel houses and has made sets for FABO members, all of which were very happy with his work.

PM me if you'd like his contact info.

thanks, but i like to do this stuff myself, there is something very satisfying about getting the work down with my own two hands. But i am still rather new to a lot of this and i like to ask questions before i dive in. Thanks

what about the offset? Would it be best to go with the smallest offset possible?
