Whats the oldest daily driver you drive.

-
I'm 55 and semi retired, got laid off last February 2011. So the wife drives our 2011 Tahoe and I drive the 69 Dart now that it's on the road. Also ride our 2010 HD Ultra Limited when it's nice (which is most of the time, sunny San Diego). Sold the 04 Crew Cab DuraMax 4x4 and 40' Weekend Warrior 5th wheel to cut down cost!

this winter was my first winter driving, i was using my 2002 jeep grand cherokee.
summer will be a 73 dart sport im buying and working on along with my 2000 durango slt
im 17

Soon to be my daily driver, does that count.:blob::blob:

Sold it a while back but for about three years mine was a nasty little 56 chevy truck. Sold it to buy a 69 cuda. I was probably 33 when i got it.

I am 23 and I drive either my 71 swinger or my 88 honda accord. The honda does get 13mpg better then the swinger though so that does play a part in it a little. When I was 19-21 I drove my 68 newport everyday but now only when I am feeling rich lol.

I just turned 35 two weeks ago and I drive my '69 dart all day every day. I also have a Honda that sits in the drive way until I have no other choice.

I'm 22, before the army it was my 72 Dart and my dad's 64 Valiant. Now its my 87 D150.

Did they have internal combustion engines back then??

I cannot stop laughing..... I'm sitting here thinking "that truck isnt that old..... what's the beef! I just re read my post!!! I'm not changing it..... when I finish my 5th or 6th Rum and diet I bet it looks like 1964 to me!

I drove this up until 2010 when it got replaced with a Dodge Dakota.. I miss that '87 Dodge D50, it got better mileage than my Dakota.

Here's how my poor baby sits today...

SANY0054.jpg

It's going on a new frame (The old one rotted away) with a 318/435/203 and a Flatbed

was my 66 cuda, then my caprice finally got a new transmission. Now that's my DD until I get a new 360 in it that doesn't sound like it'll shake itself apart above 40 mph.

was 18 and 19 when I drove it each summer. I haven't driven since I turned 20 back in Oct with Wisconsin being the way it is.

I'm 49, my DD is a '64 VW Beetle 'til the snow flies, 36mpg and slightly faster than a 10 speed bike, but much less effort. (my son gets the '66 Barracuda). Winter months I jump in the '00 F150, just turned over 320,000 mi. and still gets 18mpg.
