for those who dont know me, im known as Ms. 4 speed, because almost everything i have is four speed.....Well over the years of parting cars and swapping this here for that and so on.......i have a pretty big pile 727s most came out of running cars, most are big block, although there are a lot of small block ones rangeing from 1967 to 79....they are all 727s because i got rid of all the 904 a few years ago. so my main point is: are these units worth anything to anyone? and if they are whats the average

you should look up the numbers on the sides... for year/model matchup. then sell them on ebay or b-body forum or e-body etc... because some people will look for exact matches. like '71 challenger or '69 GTX or whatever. to people attempting an exact restoration they are worth more or sell faster

Worth more up here in new england, prolly cause the vehicles that had em are long gone. Seen em go for 600 bucks at swap meets up here.

WOW at 600 bucks a pop ...i would get rich ....i would become a multi -thousandaire:happy1::mrgreen:

Hey, I need a GOOD 727 (like it was from a running car and not laying in a heap) for my Scamp Big Block project.

Any of you have one and don't think they're worth much, let me know!

Aren't some 727's that came outta floor-shift cars a bit more desirable?.....because of the added little casting piece on the tailhousing? Or am I completely insane? Seems like one of my 904's has a little 2-hole area on the bottom of the tailhousing where the floor-shift bracket bolts on.

I would think the trans would be worth about $125~$150 with the torque converter, geez that doesn't sound too expensive at all to me.
