For those of you who want to know how to install hood scoops on a 340 Dart Duster Demon etc, go get this mag. It has a great step by step tech article on how to do it. Even if you dont have plans at the moment it is a great article to put away for the future.

Not to mention the possibility of a new road runner.

Go get it now !!!!!!

Anybody have this magazine that could scan the pages concerning the hood scoop install instructions and email them to me? Trying to supply a local body shop with as much information on installing them, on Monday 7/25.

Thanks

Thanks Burntorange70, I found that link over the weekend. I found this thread today and was hoping to get a copy of the article in the Mopar Enthusiast Magazine for additional information.

I looked for this mag and unfortunately couldn't find it. And to my knowledge this magazine is no longer. Maybe do an Internet search ?

hmmmm the car in that magazine looks really familiar...lol

basically what the article says is that a lot of hoods are pre drilled underneath to accept the scoops.. tells you what ones they are and how to mount the scoops.

Its now called AUTO ENTHUSIAST... Mopar is a "section" of the mag. They did this after I got a subscription- did not renew. Who wants to pay to read about Fords and Chevys???

the chrysler crap in mopar mags are the same retread boring crap. only thing they are good for anymore is to see the new product releases and even there the internet is faster hearing about it.. i enjoy seeing other makes and models. hell i don't get any mopar only magazine anymore.

The only one I get is Mopar Action, mainly because the tech work is never re-hash crap, it's always top-notch for the driver crowd.

What other mags are considered decent reads?
Car Craft... Hot Rod...Muscle Machines...etc??? Anybody recmmnds?

I have picked these mags up from time to time and gotten some interesting info in regards to interior, body work, as well as some tech stuff but still enjoy the rehashed Mopar mag stuff.

car craft is doing a demon right now. 3g hemi turbo powered. can't remember if its car craft or auto enthusiast that was messing with a mustang. modified it with all stuff out of the motorsport catolog. me interested in buying a rag top stang found it quite interesting. thinking about it now i do get chrysler power (when it actually comes) and boy is it lame. bought a mopar muscle the other day because my car is in an ad on the back cover. couldn't get past a paragraph befor eit bored the hell out of me. never even read the thing.
