Good Street/Strip Tires?

I was wanting to get a set that would perform and last long on the road but have good grip on the strip. I want to get a few thousand miles on them if possible.
What are you guys runnin?

I run et streets to the track and love them. I also run BFGs to show the car.
 
the firestone Indy 500 is a great tire... softer than the TA radial but still has a 45K milage rating...
 
I've good luck with Mikey drag radials.
 
I have a few thousand mikes on mine in a couple of months and I have neither of those issues. I even took it on a 300 mile road trip and they where great. Don't get me wrong though they are a drag radial so the softer compound isn't gonna last as long as a regular street tire.
 
Ok my opinion has been changed on them thanks guys. I relized that I would get around 5 thousand miles on them if I am lucky. I like Bamamopars idea of just swaping tires from bfg to mt ets. Just have to find/make room for the extra set.

Bamamopar do you drive to the strip with your ets and do you ever leave them on for shows?

Another question what wheel should I mount them on would a matching pair of magnum 500s (Goin to buy a set with Radial T/As on them) work fine or should i do factory type steelies?
