You sure about that 3880905 being a 340/360 manifold?

The pass side is definitely a 340/360 manifold.

So you are saying the manifolds are mismatched from 72 up?? Because the passenger side has it. I'll try and get a PIC of the ports.

340/360 passenger side manifolds will have the bell (as will 273/318 manifolds). 273/318 bells will have a smaller ID.

340/360 driver side manifolds will not have the bell (273/318 manifolds will have it). That's how you can tell the difference very quickly.

I have one of the 3880905 driver's side a body 360 manifolds. The port size is the same as a 360 truck manifold that i have, i measured them just this morning.
The openings are approx. 1 1/8'' on the single ports, and about 2 15/16'' across the middle port.
The a body manifold has a bell at the bottom of it and the exhaust pipe attached was 1 1/2''.
I think they changed the manifold for a 360 a body for '75 to a bell outlet as well as the bottom of the manifold has extra material cast into them to cover the air ports in the head.
I took pics if you guys want to see the comparison.
I hope this helps.
Tom.

I'm not sure I understand something on manifolds... why are they not a left & right, matching, (Not sure I'm saying this correctly) Why aren't they symmetrical? I know partly due to the steering, BUT couldn't have that been remedied simply by making them both the same "way" with a left bolt on "bell" on one, and a right bolt on "bell" on the other? I find this an interesting thing with the passenger side having a longer exhaust pipe, and the driver side being shorter......
