If I wanted to do away with my wing windows on my 72 Dart and have the look of the Duster and 73-75 Dart door glass, is it as easy as changing the window itself or is there something hidden I would have to do?

OK First lets draw a solid line between Duster/Dart Sport and Dart/Valiant Scamp. You can't cross that line. Glasses, regulaters, everything is different. I dont think there ever was a Duster or Dart Sport with vent windows anyway.
Now... To use the later model Dart/Valiant Scamp galsses in the earlier model car requires changing weaterstrip/seals where the glass meets the body and the regulater and tracks inside the door. I think the winder handle is in a slightly different location too. That may apply to only some earlier models but If so the door interior panel would need to be altered.
I've looked at the possibilty of deleting the vent windows of a 67 B'cuda ( using 74 Scamp donor ) and decided it was just not a good plan.

I'd suggest finding a '73 up Dart or Scamp & closely look at the differences between the later models & your car. Areas of particular interest would be the seals & how they attach to the body. Are you changing the doors completely or modifying yours? A complete door swap might be easier in the long run.

I would have thunk that the old glass could be pulled out, unbolted from the slides and the 73-75 dart glass could go right back in its place, using the same hardware.

I'd love to have vent (Wing) windows on my 74 Duster. As a matter of fact I'd like to have them on all my cars that don't have them.:burnout:
