So im new to this...im looking for the cheapest way to switch my rear end to the 4 1/2 bolt pattern in my 67 cuda...then of course the front and convert the front to disc brakes..they dont have to brand new ...ive been told a 73-75 dart 8 1/4 rear would be a perfect match for my 360...

please help

What rear end do you have?? I had a 8 3/4 and I sent my axles to Moser and they welded/re-drilled the axles to the 4.5 bp.

Yes the 73 and newer A-body 8 1/4 is perfect for what you want to do. That is what I put in my 69 Dart. If you can find the same years for the front you can install the disc brakes on your car.

what year does the a body go to?.....and will anyother year fit ?

thanks guys...anyone know the average cost of doing this?

That depends on what you pay for the used parts. The 8.25 rear could cost from 100.00 ( local 3.21 open ) to 500.00 plus for 3.55 suregrip.
Most who change out the front brake assemblies will go ahead and renew all front suspension components at the same time. 600.00 all done is my guess for an average.

I may have one for sale ....all new breaks ....rebuilt 410 limited slip. Send me your address and I will come up with a price shipped to your door with a lift gate. It is currently under my wife's car. Big bolt pattern. Approximately 1600 miles on the brakes and the rebuilt. Thanks Derek from Buffalo

thanks guy ..i ended up finding a guy in indiana that everything i needed and i picked it all up yesterday....thanks for all the info
