Looking for a new or very nice used pair of 74 dart sport rear bumper 5 mph shock brackets that hold the bumper on if anyone has them. Or if anyone knows of any other type of bracket to hold the rear bumper on i maybe interested. thanks

People are regularly parting out cars on the forum and several Dart Sports have come up recently. Take a look in the "for sale" section or search for Dart Sport and see what you come up with. I suspect you'll be able to find these pretty easily.
 
I will be parting out a 75 dart sport hang 10 after I get it this thursday. I'll have ot see how they look though, most of the time those are rusted pretty bad.
 
I'm curious and the answer may help the OP as well:

Do the front and rear 5 mph "shock absorber" bumper brackets interchange between the front and rear?
 
have a pair of bumpers (74 Dart Swinger) w the extensions. I suspect the rear bumper extensions are different on Dart Swinger v. Dart Sport models though. am going to el paso tx yard on wednesday, these should be solid w/o rot spots.
 
yeah im thinking they are differant since both types of darts have differant back ends

I thought they could have reconfigured the bracing/reinforcement between the bumper and brackets to save on redesigning the shock absorber bumper brackets. I guess not. Thanks!
