Yes I am sorry another tire size question, but would appreciate some advice on tire sizes that are specific to the 67-69 Barracuda with a standard 14" rim. I currently have P205/70/R14 all around. The FABO archives threads indicate P205/70/R14 upfront and P215/70/R14 at the back(1968FormulaS340 suggestion and others). The car is a 273cu with a 7 1/4 rear end and will be keeping the stock rallye caps. Thanks!!

If you are asking about going with 215-70-14s on the rear with your 14 x 4.5" wheel, I think you will be fine.

The 4.5" wheel is your limiting factor as far as safety (if you care about that). Getting a wider wheel that would still fit the wheel cover would give you more options.

You could go 215/70-14 all around -- fits fine. I have 5.5" rallies, might be a skosh wide for 4.5".

I like the 215 /14 all around on mine. i like to rotate regular, get my moneys worth out of them. It is a difficult size to find today.

You and the other FABO's have been a tremendous help..thank you. This morning the car goes off to mechanic for final tune up / fix up, off to wetsand / polish and then put the shiny stuff on. Cheers!

..tow truck came and gave me a better perspective on how the wheels fill up the wheel wells. Hope to fill it a little better in the rear. Maybe buy 2 x 14 5.5" for the rear so I can run a larger tire?
