So I run into a scrapper that I have met in the past the other day..........needs to borrow some money until Friday. I have some faith in the guy so I lend him some money to fill up his truck.

We get talking about things and he asks me what I am working on. I tell him that I got rid of most of my Dodge truck stuff and am now working on a 1970 Duster. Out of the blue, he tells me that he is going to scrap a 1970 or 1971 Duster and a 1972 Duster and wonders if I might want some parts off them!!!! I was like WHAT????????????????? He follows me in the garage and says, "Yup, those cars are just like yours!!!!"

Long story short: he told me that he's dropping the cars off at my house Friday so I can strip them and he will scrap what's left!

I'll keep you posted as I have no idea if this will actually happen, but I am certainly hoping that it does!!!!!!! Is it Friday yet??????:blob:

and make sure and bring him Breakfast or a pizza for his help, I know he will enjoy seeing you show up with food :D I always did 8)
 
If this all works out, I won't be asking for the loan back! Depending on what there is left of them, I may be giving him so cold hard cash too!!!!
