Any pilots out there? What do you fly?

I have an unfinished Gyrocopter.
I hope to one day get back on it.
Its a Gyrobee.

Gyrobee - cool! Mine is a Bensen. I fell in love with the idea of a gyrocopter after watching Mad Max Road Warrior! I would have finished restoring it already if I could be sure of finding an instructor. Closest guy I found was in MD (I'm in NJ).

I like the Gyrobee design better than Bensen's. Have you received any instruction yet?

No, mines about 60% done.
I've got so many hobbies started the Gyro
got moved to the back burner.:sad5:
I've got all but the props, rotorhead and engine.
I looked at a Benson with drone motor last year,
came close to buying it.

Growing up the kid across the fields father was an avid gyrocopter pilot, we called it a flying lawn chair, he had a thumb and two fingers on one hand due to hand propping.

Used to fly, haven't in years and my medical isn't current.Earned my comm/instrument ratings at Spartan in Tulsa, OK. Flew mostly Cessna's, 150,152,172, 177, 182, Piper 140, and a budd's RV7A. Miss it dearly.

My dad was into pre WWII trainer biplanes. From French Stampes to PT-17 Stearmans. He sold the Stearman and bought a 71 Cuda vert!

Commercial Instrument Rotorcraft , haven't flown anything in years and my license isn't current but for 10 years I flew Medevac Hueys (UH-1V) in the Army

Ok, i get your name now! Thanks for the lifts! I got lifted out by a Marine Huey on a SPIE harness, imagine dangling from a 50 foot rope At about 1000 feet doing 120 knots.....i would love to Fly but i got Bad eyes...and my Work yard is right past Long Beach airports main runway. F-18s, Buffs, C-17s and every commercial carrier short of widebodies. That russian 6 motor transport has even landed there twice along with Obama's personal flying limo, Air Force 1.
