what is y'alls favorite all time daily driver you have owned? post it up.and tell us why!

my favorite so far is my truck. it manages to make my friends smile every time they get into it and I can't help but enjoy driving it everywhere. its very pleasing to drive something you have so much time and effort into every day.the only major cons it has are it guzzles gas and the gas gauge is just useful for roughly gestimating how much gas it has left, other than that, it came with a fully functional birdbath lol. I have been getting lots of compliments on it lately and even had someone offer me a '69 Chrysler 300 with a 318 in trade.

71 Fury 383 auto.Comfy and lots of power.I drove it daily until gas prices went crazy.

My favorite would have been my Dart several years ago when it had the slant 6 and auto trans.

Has to be my 09 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 Hemi.It drives great has tons of power and gets very good mpg........................................Jeff

I guess my old 1989 Dodge Turbo Mini Van.

Factory 2.5 Turbo with the A-413 automatic. No overdrive, no lock-up,
just 3.09 final drive ratio I believe.

Boost was at 11.5 with no intercooler.

I loved this thing on the street...not much it couldn't out
run for a couple of blocks.:burnout:

My daily driver for about 5 years.:D

#1. 97 Dodge Ram 4x4 loved everything about that truck, miss it everyday.
#2. 80 Ramcharger 4x4 that thing was a beast.
#3. 90 Pontiac Sunfire. My 1st car will always have a special place in my heart.

My favorite daily driver

My 1st thought was my 1983 el Camino with 5.7 lt diesel.

But my 1972 340 stick (was factory 3 speed put a Hemi 4 speed in it) was my driver for many years, and was probably my favorite. But drove the el Camino for 5 or 6 years and put 100,000 + miles on it, pulled my boat, got great fuel mileage when diesel was cheaper than gas too

Really liked my 71 Cuda but even though I drove it quite a bit, the Challenger was always there and loved the stick.

Then there was my 1979 short bed F150, loved that truck 8-11 mpg

My 1985 Bronco loved that too, great plow vehicle, looked good drove great when I got done rebuilding the front

Too many to have a favorite, each vehicle had its own personality and benefits

My current 2007 Mustang convertible has to be up at the top too. Has plenty of power, get great comments about the looks, modified to look like a 69/70 Mach1

Tony, do you still have the van?

Sold it last year to Brad Wedan..my engine builder.

He then traded it to a guy for some kind of favor. That guy
was going to put a big block chevy in the back of it and
keep the turbo front wheel drive intact also.

The guy is quite the fabricator.

When the need comes up, put the front motor in neutral
then fire the big boy up in the rear.:burnout:

Throw up a picture of the Mustang Larry. I looked and didn't have
one.

1976 Dodge Aspen Super Six, 4 door. I bought her used and drove the doors off that thing til I T-Boned a Honda minivan when the lady pulled out in front of me. I was able to drive away, her minivan needed to be towed......

Beater 72 Dart Swinger,/6. That car did everything I asked it to. 22 MPG,top speed,80-ish.Army green, with Viper red scallops.

Green '68 Dart 270 2-door hardtop. Slant 6 automatic, drove it 160 miles a day. Never broke down, but the carb flooded out once while in the fast lane. Popped the air horn off that carb on the center median, blew on the needle and seat and was back on the road in about 10 minutes! Wasn't even late for work!

It also used a little oil, but that thing ran like a happy little sewing machine on 13-inch wheels!

Mine would have to be my 67 Ranchero. Has super comfy cadillac seats from an 02 SeVille, 302 engine from a 71 Ranchero, and Fuel Injection package from a 92 Tbird. Ran great before I had to pull the engine to do a rebuild. Decent MPG and I kind of enjoy the "What year El Camono is that?" questions.

My 06 Mustang is my daily driver now, but I've been looking to trade it for awhile. Great MPG on the V6 and it is comfy. It is a stick, which I normally love, but the clutch pedal is super stiff. Driving in stop and go traffic actually hurts my leg.

My wife's 66 Dart is pretty nice to drive, but it isn't really freeway worthy yet, and my job is a pretty good distance away.

Out of the muscle cars I own my favorite daily ride is a fully built 04 sti. 500awhp,6 speed, 20mpg and has a/c. Turn the key and go where you choose.

340-4spd-3.55.Very fun to drive.:burnout:

For me, it was the electric blue metallic 318 (auto on console) 68 Barracuda convertible I bought in 1979 and which was my daily driver through college and for several years after. I parked it in the early 90's with plans to restore it a second time (which never happened). I stupidly sold it when another 68 vert became available, but I should have tried to keep both. I sold it to a friend who had been after me for years to sell it to him. I gave him a sweet deal, but when he decided to sell, he wanted way too much for it. He had put alot of money into "improvements" I wouldn't have wanted, but didn't fix the rust on the body. Last I saw it, the next owner had it 3000 miles away and had resto-modded it.

The entire time I had it, it was completely reliable, the top never leaked, there were none of the typical rattles or noises normally associated with a convertible, and the 318 was reasonably quick. Of all the cars I ever sold, this is the one I always missed the most. Heres a picture of it back in the 80's at the Mopars on the Beach Mopar show in Maryland.

For a daily driver it had to be my 73 a/c teen Challenger,But my wife drove it as I a daily driver more then I did, My all time I did drive.
And for well over 5 years would have been my flat bed truck, 318 granny 4 speed.
I remember many camping trips (and out of town working) setting up a tent on the bed and blow A/C in the tent with dryer vent hoses . Wow I loved that truck

Yep!! That is one of my son's Creed at about 3 years old I think, now he is pushing 30

Mines the one I still drive to this day. 68 Dart 270 model 360 magnum fi with the 518 od. Small bolt all the way around with 3.91 sure grip in the back. A little crusty all the way around but don't care if it gets door dinged. Just installed a dual scoop hood not pollitiacly correct but made the car.
