Does the magnum block use the same motor mounts and is after market parts for carbing available?

yes mounts the same, Summit has some for about 70 bucks(up to 72, mounts changed from 73 up)

several magnum specific intakes available
edelbrock and crosswind OR drill and tap heads to mount an la intake

with some oiling mods can use la heads on magnum block

camshafts for magnums fairly expensive

yes will bolt to 727, use a 96 and up flexplate as they balanced the magnum at the flexplate from 96 and up.....and a neutral balance converter with no weights on it

can use la timing cover and la pulleys and accesories

with the la setup on the front of the motor if you dont want to use an electric pump for fuel, there is a cam snout extension available from mancini to run a manual pump

la valve covers will fit on magnum heads

la pan will work on magnum with small mods, all stock magnum pans rear sump

magnum heads have excellent quench, typically they need 2-3 degrees less advance than la, which also means that running a dual pattern camshaft in unessecary
