How I hate them......just found out that my father in law was assaulted....over his 3 year cell phone and empty wallet....Jerkoffs.....
 
Sorry about paw in law. Hope he's ok. Sorry you hate everybody but none of us here did it.

We have no way to get in touch with him right now. People from the phone company that talked to him said he is banged up a bit....has some bruises and scrapes...Happened across the border in Mexico.

She is ok.......They have been after him for a while now to go live with her sister in Phoenix. She has a small quest house, complete with its own bath/kitchen etc for years but he enjoys his freedom to much.
 
Doug, Sorry to hear this. I hope they catch who did this and he will be ok from this.
 
Sorry to hear about this. It's a shame that people can do this to others.
 
From what we have heard he just has some scrapes and bruises......What kind of person would attack someone who is in there 70's? The man is 5'7" or so, perhaps 165 pounds. Ernie's youngest sister is only an hour from him, she is on the way to check on him & help him with the process of getting another phone. The phone is on our account, her Dad uses more of our plan than Ernie & I put together.

I have always giving Ernie a hard time about him looking like a member of the Mexican Mafia....:-#

I'm sorry to hear about your pa-in-law, Doug, but forgive me if I play the inveterate shyster. You see, I tried to retire from being a lawyah in order to become a real person, but I just can't seem to do it.

An assault is just being placed in fear of being hit, without an actual bodily impact. Your p-i-l was the victim of a battery. That is a much more serious crime than an assault because actual bodily injury is involved.

That he is....Have not heard from him yet. He was supposed to be going back to the Verizon store to get a new phone last night....

The type of person who lacks morals and values would attack anyone for any reason. I'm very sorry to hear he was assaulted. Going across the border can be dangerous at times and even living near the border can be equally dangerous, for Mexicans and Americans alike. Hope you get him home safely!
