I have a 3 core Champion radiator in a 67 Barracuda. I'm not sure of the part number. I bought it off Ebay and I do remember the 1st one I ordered that was supposed to fit my car was a little too tall and the cap touched the underside of my hood. I sent that one back and got one a little shorter but I had to switch to a water pump with the inlet on the right side rather than the left. The top hose location on the radiator is on the driver's side but close to the center of the radiator which i believe the factory radiators were this way also. The problem I have is I can only run a small 4 blade fan. I bought an 18" clutch fan from a member here and it hit my top radiator hose. I have several other Mopar factory fans but they all either hit or come very close to hitting the top hose. The 4 blade fan I have on the car now worked with a bone stock 360 but I now have a 380 HP crate motor and it gets a little warm on hot days wnen I'm sitting in traffic. I thought of going with an electric fan but I only have 3 1/2 inches on either side of the radiator plus this car is a driver and I don't want to eliminate a belt driven fan and rely only on an electric fan. I have been left stranded by electric fans dying on me. The measurements of the radiator I have are- core = 22wide by 16 high. The overall dimensions are 22 3/4 wide by 20 3/8 high and 21 3/8 to the top of the cap. Did Mopar ever make a smaller diameter fan with more than 4 blades? Does anyone make a shroud that will fit this radiator without a ton of mods? Can I have a radiator shop move the top hose location without it looking like a hack job? Does anyone know of a radiator that will fit better allowing me to fun a larger fan? As a last resort I could try to find a very thin electric fan and use it as a pusher in front of the radiator. I'm adding some pics of the situation. Note how close the fan is to the top hose.

The last pic I posted is showing how little room there is for an electric fan in front of the radiator.

Raise the radiator a half inch if you have the room, looks like you need a shroud .

True but there is plenty of room to mount an electric fan on back, just ditch your stock fan.

My stock fan is that close to the rad hose on my Challenger. I was concerned at first too. It hasn't been an issue though.

I have a 17" 6 bladed fan that is correct for the earlier A body cars! Interested? Shoot me a PM and ill hook you up!! Geof
