Portland Swap Meet

Down at the track or up on the hill, it's all good. Not a lot of MOPAR but, you never know. Last year brought home an 8-3/4 drum to drum Abody rear end. year before got a 2998974 radiator that I've been looking for since about 93-94. Best part is riding the bus. If it's the young kid with the intake/carb/air cleaner or the old guy with the tail light housing, they both have a big smile on their face. probably only get to go one day. three other guys and I put on cage fights. We have a fund raiser at Dallas high school on the 5th. Oh well, just have to go three days next year. Hope you all find your parts.

Ok I have the booth information. We have 13 booths of Mopar parts at the Expo Center starting at 5046 they are on the back side of the Expo buildings. The orange gate is closest.

I'll be there Thursday - Saturday.
PlumCrazee - I've got buildings full of 70 Dart parts. Give me a call and maybe I can bring stuff you need with me. I'll send PM

Rocky - I'll see you guys there!

You have to be in shape to cover 65% of it. We used to hit the chevy tables...they had no idea what mopar parts were. My buddy Kevin picked up a few nice 2bbls for around 20$...2300 mopar 6-pack carbs ! You would think they would recognize them since corvettes used near identical carbs on tripower....

I once passed on a NOS 70 Charger grill in the box because he wanted 500.00! Kicked myself on the way home and once a month ever since.

lol baird!

yeah we are coming with a part of a larger local collection. a-b-e body sheet metal fenders mostly even some c-body stuff if requested.
2x 71 chally grilles, R/T side scoops, SE hood and rear moldings
a uber nice 68 GTS grille with center extension.
A56-7 hood w/scoops, lots of moldings,
4-speeds and parts, including, b-body console shifter w/rods,
Rallye 150 speedo, unbroken or cut a-body rallye 70-1 bezel

and mucho more!

Just got back home from the meet...more Mopar stuff than I thought (besides Rocky_JS's and friends stuff). You couldn't "swing a dead cat" without hitting...

A: HEMI valve covers, or

B: 727 automatic transmissions.

What's with that?

The weather turned out a lot better than forecasted, which made for bigger crowds, especially on Friday (who'd of thunk it!) Managed to meet up with Rocky_JS (John) for quick chin-wag....no pic 'cause my camera batteries died about 15 minutes earlier...great guy, with tons of Mopar stuff for sale. A few Mopar cars for sale...1 '67 Dart in particular which sold (asking $17,500). Again, no pic...batteries! (Note to self: TAKE SPARE BATTERIES next time!) Anyway, a good time was had by all (had my son and bro-in-law along)

Rocky will probably chime in with a report as well.
