We don't see them around here either... Maybe that is because we crushed them as soon as they hit the yard since we couldn't sell anything off them.

Yep real good till you gotta buy parts for it. Tokyo tonka, disposable car. Those early toyotas and datsuns were absolute junk you could hear em rusting on the dealers lots. Thin crappy metal, no galvanizing 3 year lifespan in the rustbelt. Toyota didnt care, in japan all cars are supposed to have a 3 year lifespan. Then off to the scrapyard they go. Its to keep their local economy running. I dont think they expected people here to keep them longer than that.
 
If you really want one there are still plenty in AUS, Chrysler Galant wagon. Poxy smokey 4 cyl's.

Last night at a car show, a beautiful rust free 280Z showed up. I think it amazing since rust is king here. He only wanted 10K for it. LOL!
