I'm trying to figure out how to mount the throttle cable. I have the kick-down hooked up using the old bracket, and a kick-down extension on my carb, so that works, its just the actual mounting of the throttle cable that's causing issues. I have it temporarily hooked up, but I don't want to drive it that way.

What brackets can I buy that will securely mount the cable?

Its a 360 with a weiand dual action plus intake and a Holley 650 with vacuum secondaries in a 73 dart, and im using the stock kick-down for the 904.

Mancini has a variety of throttle cable brackets available. Read the descriptions.

I would think that a stock 340 throttle bracket will do. it has the mount for the cable attachment 90° different than the 2 bbl bracket and the 2 bbl kick down linkages usually will work with it.

Mancini sells the correct bracket. I think it's around $30. I just extended my 2-barrel bracket.

I usually put 2 or 3 flat washers under the old 2 bbl mount,, to raise it, then unscrew the down-rod as far as poss leaving it sturdy,, then weld a small 1 x 1 1/2ish square of metal ahead of/onto the old cable mount,, drill a hole and notch that piece to use the original cable hold down, then mod the throttle press rod a little longer by threading a 1 in. piece of thick wall tube, screwing it onto shaft and screwing a fine thread piece into it then the carb connector ..

hope that makes sense.. I don't have a pic..

I couldn't seem to modify the bracket enough for me to be satisfied with how it looks, it works but doesn't look right. I think I found a bracket that should work, they aren't very expensive anyways.
