Moparfest meet n greet 2014 PLEASE READ!!

Hey all, I realize there is a thread already for Moparfest 2014. I wanted to put it out there, that some of you may not park in the FABO club parking, but still drop by for a meet n greet, pint/bodyshot/chicken wing/pp(pulled pork), dutch rudder....what have you. Mike/2darts has made a beautiful banner with some members cars on it, so signatures are required as well as well as a group photo. Lotsa people there and most come n go, which is totally understandable, but try and stop by at 11am or 3 pm on Saturday or Sunday.

Should I bring a grill and burgers? Or something else? I know a few guys are bringing lots of food already, but the wife and I don't want to show up empty handed again. We already did that at the Nats and luckily the OH & PA boys took care of us. We planned to eat at venders, but were quickly told not too!
 
Wouldn't miss it for 426 Hemi..........ok maybe for one of those! But that won't be happinin'!! See ya'll shortly. I just figured Stace and I would bring some refreshments, but if there's anything else, we have a couple days of fooling around yet.

Don't think you will need the grill but if you wanna bring something to throw on one??? Tofu burgers??

Ok. We'll bring something for the grill then.

We expect to be at the Best western around lunch time Friday and have a tent up and cooler out on the grass waiting to check in :)
 
Steve might be wrong we might need an extra grill or two with all the people coming , who all is bringing a grill ?

George n Stace flew in from the.west.I believe Chris if so they won't have a grill. I may have room but with Lori coming and yer stuff as well as spare parts I might not have room
 
I thought Rodzilla drove to the Nats and was coming from there so might have one , as for my stuff just bring the parts , the car is probably taking it's annual train ride home so the other stuff is going to waste if you bring it .In fact I will also be having my annual gas can give -away LOL , even funnier guess what the prizes are for the guessing game HaHa .
 
Coat of wax applied and we are ready to head out tomorrow afternoon. See you Sat. fingers crossed for no rain.

We don't have a grill but was going to stop at Crappytire for one. We will do that and grab a bunch of burgers too, better off too much food then not enough. See you there!

I'm sure there will be tons of food , I was thinking of holding the fish back until Sunday but we will figure it out tomorrow at the hotel eh !lol , theres a wallymart just up the road from the hotels if we need something .
 
Just DON'T buy any hamburger from Walmart. Tried it and was NOT impressed. They have good sausages and they go REALLY good with beer!! LOL

Ok,,,will grab a grill and hold off on food till we take a tally before buying more. See you all tomorrow.
 
I am bringing my grill on Saturday..... Same as always.

I have ordered 35 sausage links and I am bringing 20 Cowboy burgers. We are going to be bringing enough buns for everything I am bringing. We will also be bringing chopped onions, tomatoes and ketchup, mustard and relish too.

My portable grill is pretty slick. It can cook 8 burgers at a time and kicks out lots of heat. If someone else wants to brink a portable BBQ then go ahead..... up to you.

I will probably be firing it up just before noon.
 
Here are a couple pics of my portable BBQ. It cooks lots of food pretty fast for a portable! Kinda like the way I drink beer...LOL

We usually sit in the hotel parking lot and drink way too much to be driving , In the past we started around 1 in the afternoon so the Friday night cruise hasn't been an option eh LOL , this is going to be too cool with all the FABO folks coming , might require some behavioral adjustments eh .
