FINALLY!!!!

I bought a 60 gallon 6.5 horse, 2 stage compressor off of Craigs List for 125.00 about a year ago. It's been sitting in the garage because I didn't have a hook up for it.

Well, today I finally got around to wiring in a 220 outlet for it and holy guacamole am I gonna be liking this.

I hooked up every air tool I have and it runs them and doesn't even begin to fall behind. I have been working with a 25 gallon compressor that couldn't begin to keep up. It's not exactly what I want, but it will do for now!!!

This is gonna be great, because I can now sit down and get my heads ported, engine assembled and painted.

While I was at it I ran a dedicated power supply just to run my welder.

Gotta love being able to do what you want without having to wait for the compressor to catch back up. Good score too. Now you can do the happy dance.:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Did you wear a mask and hold a gun on the guy when you picked it up?

Lol, one would think eh? No, he had just recently purchased a brand new 80 gallon Campbell Hausfield, and just felt like passing it on to someone for a decent price.

I happened to see it right after he posted and and snagged it up. He had a couple of other people call before I did and they offered him stupid low money for it and he told them to buzz off.

Plus I guess he felt sorry for me that I drove 50 miles to get it, one way, lol.

at least you're not like our mechanic at work. never uses air tools when boss is around. doesn't want him to know how fast and easy he COULD do it!! LOL

Be lost without my 2 stage compressor...80 gallon tank, 6.5 hp motor....

It's nice not hearing a compressor running. Mine was full the other day. Used a plasma cutter for quite a long time before I needed to turn it back on.

Yeah, this is gonna be great. Any tool I hooked to it ran for quite a bit before it kicked on.

I'm going to look today, and see if I can plumb the exhaust port to go through the wall to the outside. If so, that should quiet it down even more. :D

Nice find, Bruce. A check on maintenance items, would be good..( knowing you , probably already done)
