Cartoons

-
My 3 year niece loves Scooby Doo. She can watch it 24-7. I can stand to watch that, some of the newer cartoons I can't stand. Sadly I just switched satellite providers and lost the channel with Scooby Doo. I haven't told her yet. Am going to see if I can't record all of her Scooby doos from the old DVR to dvd to save them. I babysit her 3-4 times a week.

I am wondering if I should post this link I ran across about the double meaning in some cartoons. I mean they are made by adults after all, and not all may be as clean minded as we think. Well, here is the link anyway. It's not out and out pornographic, but definitely could be considered off color by some, but all were on the TV with no restrictions at one time or another, and most likely quite often.

Yep

Benny & Cecil the seasick sea serpent

Popeye 'I'm Popeye the sailor man' toot toot

Adventure Time booted everything to 2nd place for me. There have been times where Jake says something and I can't stop laughing for a good 30 seconds.

This one is worth watching -

Old Betty Boop is a close second for me.

hahahaha... I like how the drink isn't fluid at all.

Peppermint Butler is also pretty awesome, as a character.

I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread when the sedanman here first showed it to me.

We took granddaughter to the Lego Movie (first one). She liked it, but wife and I thought it was hilarious. More adult humor in there than kid stuff. There are several of those type kid movies out there.

No.... There's no double meanings in cartoons.... Gigity, gigity....

I like the Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny etc, by Warner Brothers. I watch them when i can.
The Disney stuff always seemed ''too cute'' to me.

Take a look at Disney's Gargoyles, definately not "too cute"

I will admit that I do watch a lot of TV....... And yes, some of the Disney/Pixar movies are in my video library. On the dark side, I like Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futureama etc.

When I was a kid, Looney Tunes and the Superfriends were my Saturday morning ritual.

Man that was many moons ago.

Just last week, for some unknown reason a line from Klondike Cat popped in my head, "saboufaire is everywhere" Have tried to find Klondike Cat, Go-Go Gophers and others on DVD but no luck.

Anybody ever watch the Roger Ramjet cartoons circa 1965? I always liked their sarcastic humor:

I miss the older cartoons, I watch the Disney channel with my son now and nick jr still, I'm 34 and miss the old loney toon, tiny toons, robotech(have the DVDs from the series), ronin warriors (have on DVDs) was awesome and the original transformers(have DVD), GI Joe, tail spin and gargoyles and so many that others have mentioned, dragon ball z.

I grew up with old Looney Tunes. Classic, never get sick of them.

Dexter's Laboratory wasn't bad for a "modern" cartoon...
