All I can say is wow !

Where did you get the maple leafs ? i really like that touch.

ian.

Hi Ian. I had the local stripe shop make me that decal. Is a 2" wide band 11" long its white with the maple leafs on it.

Fisher, I think that is a great touch.

We actually have a stripe shop in town.

Thanks, Ian.

Well the car is running and all back togther in stock condition. I rebuilt the carb, flick the key and it starts. put on new muffler and tailpipe, all front sheet metal and bumpers are on and a grill good enough to pass both safety inspections. Once inspected i will become a post ***** with lots of pictures of the rebuild.

Will start with rear suspension and new 8-3/4 install moving springs inboard etc. Then front suspension and disc brake upgrade, torsion bars etc.

Then drivetrain and paint. Keep you posted for those that are interested?

Got bad news today from the body shop, alomost caused me to sell the car. After putting it all back together, i noticed the body lines and the hood dont line up all that great. They tell me after its been on the frame machine that i will need to remove the entire front clip again so they can pull it 1".. Wow all that work for nothing, i wish they would of let me put it on the frame machine to get it saftied before the front clip went back on.

Still pretty pissed off, i was temped to punt it down the road and let someone else deal with it and look for another car.

Took car to a different body shop, got the chassis safety done with no issues. The problen lies in the hinges, will have to look at that or get a lift off glass hood? Tomorrow the car goes in for the Mechanical safety, once that passes i get to tear it all apart and start building a nice street car.

Ok all the safety bullshit is behind me, and the car have been plated and insured.

I ordered a set of hotchkis frame connectors, they seem to be the nicest and most efficient set that i have come across. I also ordered the offset spring hanger kit from Dr Diff. His stuff is very high grade, the front mount is beefy, has a great cap screw setup and the main leaf bolt is flat and tappered so you dont have to do any mods to the frame. It also comes with a 1" lowering hole for ride height adjustment.

Will start posting pictures as the car comes along.

Glad you got the frame bs behind you, in the pics that car did not look like in even need a frame machine.

As far as the hotchkis frame connecters they are a copy of the MP ones you can buy from Summit or any Dodge dealer for $150.00

Stock bench seats are staying in the car! I got two sets of blue racing lap belts to accent

Hotchkis Frame connectors are in, great install easy to do, they fit great. Prep and weld thats it. Rear end suspension and gas tank all scheduled for removal this weekend.

Pulled the diffy rear suspension and gas tank today. Will start the tedious process of wire wheel cleaning the entire bottom of the car, then get the rear suspension back in and move to the front.

After a year of pain suffering and cleaning detailing, its coming together. Its out of the body shop after 3 weeks. Car was taken down to bare metal no rust or holes. All dents were hammered and dollied out no filler. I bought a set of spray guns, painted the trunk and engine bay inside and out. Body shop removed the doors etc and did a first class paint job. Base clear B2 blue, will wet sand and polish as well. Then the entire winter to assemble the car.
