Seeing the view every nite like posted was incredible. Great trip to Cozumel, awsome people and the fishys were amazing. Anyone wanting to go somewhere to just relax , take in the sun,do the odd excursion and soak in the surronding environment ? I recommend it. The food was real good best ever from my limited traveling.:protest::protest::protest: Dam winter , dam snow! The only good thing about winter is a place like this exists to get away from. Now back home dealing with life......:wack:

Boy I hope you are right! Last year I had the same thoughts....... it didn't warm up till April.:banghead:

To the OP, thanks for sharing your pics from what looks like a wonderful vacation. Sucks to be back to reality, lol

Wow. Nice. Did you win the lottery?

Ed, looks like a wonderful relaxing place to be. What did you end up doing for excursions? That will be one of our stops on our up coming cruise.

No Rob, 2 months prior my wife gave me the surprise. Shes been saving for almost 3 years.......|Just thought there or getting my Dart done????????? There. We deffinately needed the alone time. 16 years without our kids.......Honestly tougher than i thought.

We took a few excursions. One was long in the jeeps around the whole island. Ended up being just over 8 hours. One thing you could do is snorkeling. Take it from me...Not a strong swimmer at all, more like a rock. Everyone has to were a life vest thing but all you need is to were it. If you blow it up or not is up to you.(liabilitty) i believe. We went out around 9am and back to resort around 1 1;30. We were picked up at pier of resort. Iwas totally IMPRESSED..woow, sea turtles, crabs, star fish and the colours of fish. I think i even seen Niemo!!!!!!!!!!If your shopping stay off the main drag. Walk up 1 1/2 to 2 blocks circle around and come back down...Lower prices for sure. Batter the hell out of them. If they say no just go , youd be suprised on how they come out saying OK. Not sounding cheap but the Canadian dollar sucks changing over to U.S $100 U.S gave me $80

It was 70 here yesterday.. I want to see some snow pictures.

Thanks, the Jeep drive was recommended to us and we were told it could take a hour or all day. Depends on how often we stop. I think that sounds like fun. Was the rental of the Jeep a decent price?

The snorkeling is also some thing that we are considering. I've heard the water there is great!

Shopping, that may be something to consider as well. Although it is our last stop of the cruise so we may be shopped out LOL. Thank you very much on the recommendations and so glad that you enjoyed it!

The all day Excursion I think was $110 each. Left resort went to the southest point. Stopped to see some crocks,,,None, way to windy. Off to the light house Marine museum. It was cool, great beach there. off to snorkel ,lunch and a few beers (included) after that headed around the other side, Myan ruins, Organic Tequilla factory with some sampeling. Don't like the stuff but this stuff was smooth. They cant export due to alchol content is a bit to low for standards,,traveled through Cozemel, wow I thought big city driving was crazy....it was nuts. Notices the police drive around with there lights going........I found out its for anyone needing them can find them. I did see some boys in blue downtown..Im glad I was a good boy. They didn't piss around, guns out and ready to rock. Driving like a small armoured car..If it was me and want to see something great, id do a snorkling trip..Jm2C and have a underwater disposable camera at least

The area has a real carefree feeling, stress just disappears. I like how everything is not standardized, streets, sidewalks, buildings are mismatched. Glad you and wife had a real vacation Edd.

Welcome back to reality Ed. At least you have the memories.

The only stress I had was flying there and back. I hate it.....Its been to long for just the 2 of us to so called Re Connect. Missed the kids but I knew the'd be fine. Its very laid back ,there anyways. Love to go back even to the same resort. Lots of culture , people were great and the travelers were easy to get along with as well.....Despite maybe a few. Mets lots of great Americans and Canadians. 2nd last nite we had to help out a young women who cut her thigh bad. We sent her hubby to the front desk, she needed stitches and anti biotics. They were in a group from Wisconsin..great bunch. Seen her later that nite and was much better..$700 U.S up front

I know it is 62 now and the flowers are starting to bloom in the yard. I don't think we got to freezing once this year. I'll need to mow the lawn here real soon.
