Yep, rescued another one,...His name was Scout, was found outside the local vet, 6 lbs of flea and tick infested bag of bones, about 2 years old, we named him Jax, aka; shitbird, pecker, dude,...he is 14 lbs. of very happy ex-street fighter,...decided to save him after I lost my beloved Charlie last november,...

Awesomeness, Jaimus. Another sad animal tale, gone good.

That fuzzy butt is a picture of shiny, happy good health.
Good on ya! I have 2 myself, Wally &Poof.
Rescue shelter named them, my late wife choose them .......er
they choose her? I dunno, all I saw was her holding one palmful of
kitten and was advised we were coming back the next day for his brother.
This was 10 years ago.

It's true......dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

Good for you.

We're up to seven after the little girl my wife found in the parking lot at work.

There may be tax implications! As of 2014, you can no longer file as "head of household" if you have cats. :wack:

(Well...THEY don't consider you the head of household, anyway...)

Does that mean I can't write off his food either??? cause He eats,....alot......

Yeah...I never figured out how they did that!

My current (annual, every spring) question is now: how do they have any FUR left?! I swear, even my short-haired cats shed enough to make three more cats every day!

All cleaned up, that's one nice kitty right there...

Got a rescue kitty too, almost got hit by a car, then ran under a truck and sat and cried out loudly. Couldn't take listening to him so I went out and got him, brought him home. Placed a lost and found ad in the paper and got a call the same day it ran, turns out the caller does cat rescues and tries to find homes for them and this one escaped. He had a brother there too so I agreed to keep the stray and the brother both. That was five years ago.

Jax looks soo cute, good job giving him a home.
