Portland Swap Meet 2015 - Who is going?

The Portland swap meet at PIR happens April 9-11 2015...just about a month away!

I'm sure Rocky JS will be there. :D Any other FABO members planning to go?

I might only be able to make it down for Saturday, but I'm still planning on making the trek. Purple Barracuda needs some goodies!
 
This swap meet pretty packed? I'd think about coming up from Eugene if there was a good chance to find a 3.55 sure grip there. Dustin

Well, it's the whole of PIR, so it's a pretty big meet. Three days worth.
 
They are big, both it and the one at the Expo center. Don't plan on parking anywhere near it unless you are handicap or want to pay $25 and walk 2 miles to get to it or wait 30 min for the shuttle bus, and that's if you get to park. Go to a Park and Ride and take a MAX to it.

I will say I have been to both several times and I have never found anything worth a darn or deal for that matter. There is a lot of junk. It's fun to see and do once you swallow the cost and headache to get in.
 
The misses and I are going, will probably only go to the meet on Sat. A few years back I got my V-8 k-frame complete with discs and a firm feel box. I also scored a 340 air cleaner for reasonable. Be ready to cover some ground. I believe there is a Mopar area in the back of the Expo, there seemed to be anyway.
 
Oh, I forgot, the one time I didn't go into the PIR side of the meet I heard there was a shark tooth grill over there, in fair shape that went for 300. You do have to wade through a lot of junk (re Dano's post) but there are some nuggets sometimes.
 
are you guys going to bring some of those rare parts off the shelf by the chicken teeth and the duck lips ????????????
 
Are there any particular "hens teeth and duck lips" you're looking for? One truck and trailer and 3 2-car garages full - cant bring it all!

I'll have a booth at the pir swap meet at the end of the straight away space number 2432.
i got some great stuff last year.
 
hello, A body fans...I live in Salem Or. ...do you guys know of any Mopar A body car clubs..or Slant Six clubs

We have an a-body group that gathers together monthly. It has about 25 or so members in the area. I will PM you the mailer contact info.

There are also a few other clubs in the area,
