Good angle grinder, corded...

We probably run 20-30 grinders at work at any given time. Dewalt & Milwaukee. Milwaukee's last about twice as long and have a touch more snort to them. Dewalt's work good, when they're working.

sad to say its all junk now at the big box stores. dewalt, ryobi, makita, etc. they are all made in china. they have a complete seperate product line for he box stores. if you go to there web sites or to a real tool shop you get the better stuff. dont belive me? check the model numbers. used to work for lowes. I know all about it.

the biggest rip are the welders. you would think a 180 amp welder would be an 180 amp welder....... the box store ones are junk.

Yeah, it's the intangibles you get burned on, plastic feed assemblies, smaller unsealed feed motors and marginal electrical connections. S/F....Ken M

I have a ridgid that has been very reliable and I recently bought a Milwaukee that I also like a lot. I've tried to buy quality tools (and american made when possible) my whole life and I have yet to regret it. I believe that cheap can be expensive in the long run.
Just my old school thoughts...

I have a couple of Milwaukee 4 1/2" grinders and a couple black HF grinders. I hate changing disks so it's nice to have multiple grinders.

The Milwaukee's have been great!! The HF's are OK so as long as you don't stress it too much, otherwise you kill them quick. I already killed one of them.
