My passenger side fender mounted turn indicator burnt out. I am looking for replacements

Has anyone replaced these? Looks pretty straight forward.

Also, where did you purchase the bulbs? How was the quality

Classic Industry has them for $54 bucks (mf1702 - states for a Satellite)
Kruisinmoons has them for $40 (Never heard of these guys)
Year One has them for $70 - no discount

Anywhere else?

thank you for the help

There is a bulb inside that assembly. As Kit said its #330. You can buy it a any auto parts store. There is no need to replace the entire assembly.

I just finished replacing mine. Take your time as the wires are brittle. Start with a little penetrating oil to loosen the screw off portion up. Let me know if you need pics. Here's the price list from Krusinmoons: 'We carry the lenses at
$40.00/pr. the bulbs@$5.00/pr. and the wires@$35.00/pr.
the gaskets@$6.00/pr.We also have reproduction turn signal
indicators @ $275.00/pr. and NOS Turn signal indicators @
$350.00/pr.It appears your housings are also in bad
shape. If you're in the USA shipping will be $7.50.We can
be paid through paypal at krznmoon@atlanticbb.net or a
check or a money order will work.

How do you get to the bulb? Twist it? Mine is rock solid, don't want to break anything.

I have not been able to get the bulb out. Every few months I soak it in penetrating oil and try again

I do not think the penetrating oil works on brass. You need quick heat, to expand the brass, but not melt the lense. That could be done with induction soldering iron, or wrapping knurled part with fine nichrome wire, and energize with current limited supply. Hear only a second or two. When still hot carefully twist with pliers.

There is a nut on top very thin. I used two pairs of pliers and gripped the bottom section below the flat flange and gripped the nut on top and it twisted right apart. The bulb does not hold itself in, it is sandwiched between the nut on top and the threaded bulb receptacle. And yes it's a 330 but most big box auto parts stores don't have them anymore.

Kruisinmoons was very helpful, broke both mine trying to get them out and said heck, bought bulbs and lens and wires. As I am old-ish it will be another 40 years before my grandson (inheritor) has to worry about it again.

Sometimes you just can't get em apart, they're too corroded. I'd try the heat trick though as mentioned above. WD-40 is also your friend. If you can get to the bulbs check them on your workbench. At times I have been able to re-solder the end of the bulb to get er working again.

Just an FYI, Bulb Town has these 330 bulbs for 49 cents. A pair on ebay goes for $6 :/
