Hey fabo,
I have 72 scamp and wanting preferably adjustable upper control arms. I purchased set of RMS uppers but they have only large ball joint assemblies available...mine are SMALL ball joint assy. RMS said they will refund my $.

Unfortunately, I threw my old worn out ones away and am now pressed for time to get my car on the road for upcoming drags.

What are the SMALL ball joint aftermarket upper control arm options out there?

Thnx FABO!

I'm going with qa1 tubular uppers on my 70 duster. Bought the rest of my suspension stuff from Rock Auto (all Moog stuff). T-bars and LCA stiffening plates coming from PST. Sway bar probably coming from PST as well. Saved about $350 this way which will buy my bearings, seals, rotors, and calipers!!!

I have large ball joint non-adjustable QA1's on my Demon and love them.. give them a call and tell them what you want...

You can also ream out your 1972 spindles to the large ball joint size. RMS did this for someone else I know that bought their arms. Ask them. You can also buy a 7 degree reamer or have a machinist modify them for you.

Well this would be a good time to convert to the bbp and later slider calipers. I guess. Not what you wanted to hear, I know.

I dont want to change stuff. I already have manual disc w 4 piston calipers on the front. I think they are sufficient. Rebuild parts for front end are ready to install this one thing has brought things to a halt for now. Thanks for the comment.

I will check w machine shop first. If they wont perform or are not able where do you buy the reamer?

Rocket is thinking the wrong direction. You need small, you have large.. You can't ream out the large ones and make them smaller... I'd go firmfeel...

QA1's are 299.97 through Summit. 52303 is the part number. I got a 10% off code from a fellow FABO member, so with that and free shipping, they were like $272 shipped.
