Swap From Auto to Stick?

Other than corralling all the right parts, how much of a task do you think would be to change the '61 Lancer from S6 auto to manual trans/floor shift?

Did that in my 66 Dart 20 year ago, wasn't that hard at all. The bracket that bolts to the frame for the auto will take the ball you will need for the bell crank. (z bar) On my Dart there was a plug on the firewall that I removed for the rod from the clutch pedal. As for the hump, I just placed it where I thought it should g. Marked it out, then messured 1 inch in and made my cut. I then installed the tranny and shifter. Then just centered the shifter in the hole.

Why are you contemplating this?
